Calling for Support: Hobgoblins 2025 at Harper Adams University

Get ready for one of the biggest alumni events of the year! The Hobgoblins 2025 fixture is fast approaching, and we need your support to make it a huge success. Whether you're an alumnus or a current student, this is the perfect opportunity to reunite, make new memories, and keep the Harper Adams spirit alive!

Event Details:

Dates: 21st & 22nd February 2025

Location: Harper Adams University

Friday Night (21st February):

Kick off the festivities at the Harper Bar. Open to both alumni and current students, this is the ultimate way to reconnect with old friends and meet new faces. Don't forget—tickets are required for entry to the evening events, so be sure to secure yours early via the SU.

Saturday Daytime (22nd February):

The fun continues with the exciting Alumni vs Current Students sports matches. Whether you're playing or cheering from the sidelines, come support your teams! There will also be food and entertainment throughout the day to keep the energy high.

We are currently looking for alumni to play in the following teams:

- Mens Rugby

- Women's Rugby

- Hockey (Mixed)

- Shooting

- Women's Cricket (Indoor softball)

- Netball

- Tennis

If you don't wish to play in one of the teams above, please come and enjoy the event as a supporter.

Saturday Evening:

As the sun sets, the celebrations shift back to the Harper Bar for another round of socialising with alumni and students alike. So gather your friends and enjoy the lively atmosphere.

Why Attend?

The Hobgoblins have a rich history, officially affiliating with the Harper Adams Club back in 2000. The first committee, led by Roger Davies as Chairman, Kevin Guy as Captain, and Ian Robinson as Secretary, laid the groundwork for the strong tradition of sports and camaraderie. Since that time, the Hobgoblins have been more than just a team; they are a symbol of Harper spirit, with regular matches, charitable events, and lasting bonds between alumni and current students.

Hobgoblins 2025 isn’t just a sports fixture—it’s an unforgettable chance to strengthen the bond between alumni and current students, celebrate our shared Harper Adams experience, and keep our community thriving. Let’s show our support, make this event one for the books, and keep the Hobgoblin spirit alive!
